![]() The British-based artist Elitsa Ganeva born in 1986, comes from Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. She is a graduate of the University of Veliko Tarnovo with a BA (Hons) in Bulgarian Philology and Journalism. Elitsa has been writing poetry and literary texts since an early age. Her poems were published at Lunatic.bg, Manu Propria (2015), Trubadurs Magazine (2012), Public Republic Magazine (2008), Ragika Medley and Circle Magazine (2006). She started doing photography, painting and making short videos in 2006. Over the next few years, she has worked in a collaboration with the Italian musician Dario Mambro and his band Der Zirkus Brennt. Entirely self-taught in that field, she got interested in the subjects of self-observing and describing the emotional paths of creativity and creative prоcess through art. Her work often is focused on problems such as self-doubt, isolation, the raw female energy, and creativity as a way of resolving deep emotional riddles. She is interested in mixing traditional and digital media.
